We get to know you and your users, competition and domain space. We sketch, prototype and design usable software keeping the business needs in mind.
Product development typically refers to all of the stages involved in bringing a product from concept or idea, through market release and beyond.
In other words, product development incorporates a product’s entire journey, including:
PROOF OF CONCEPT
A Proof of Concept is a small exercise to test the design idea or assumption. The main purpose of developing a PoC is to demonstrate the functionality and to verify a certain concept or theory that can be achieved in development.
PROTOTYPEWhile PoC is focused on technical feasibility of the idea, Prototype focuses more on the usability and desirability. It’s an interactive application that demonstrates the final product. Although, the Prototype will not deliver actual functional business logic (nor is this needed at this stage), a usable ('clickable') application is delivered.
MINIMUM VIABLE PRODUCT(MVP) is a concept from Lean Startup that stresses the impact of learning in new product development. Eric Ries, defined an MVP as that version of a new product which allows a team to collect the maximum amount of validated learning about customers with the least effort. This validated learning comes in the form of whether your customers will actually purchase your product. A key premise behind the idea of MVP is that you produce an actual product (which may be no more than a landing page, or a service with an appearance of automation, but which is fully manual behind the scenes) that you can offer to customers and observe their actual behavior with the product or service. Seeing what people actually do with respect to a product is much more reliable than asking people what they would do.
FLOW, FORM AND FUNCTION
With our systematic approach, together we’ll conceptualize, evaluate ideas and create new products. It’s a combination of art, science, and technology to create successful new products that people can use!
The Design Sprint is a five-day process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers. Developed at Google Ventures, it’s a “greatest hits” of business strategy, innovation, behavior science, design thinking, and more—packaged into a battle-tested process that any team can use.
Working together in a sprint, you can shortcut the endless-debate cycle and compress months of time into a single week. Instead of waiting to launch a minimal product to understand if an idea is any good, you’ll get clear data from a realistic prototype. The sprint gives you a superpower: You can fast-forward into the future to see your finished product and customer reactions, before making any expensive commitments.
We facilitate Design Sprints on-site or remote.
UX/UI DESIGNUser eXperience (UX) design is the process of manipulating user behavior through usability, usefulness, and desirability provided in the interaction with a product. User experience design encompasses traditional human–computer interaction design and extends it by addressing all aspects of a product or service as perceived by users.
UX design is like telling a joke, if you have to explain it: you’ve failed."
Once we have a solid UX/UI foundation from the previous section, we can implement the next level of creativity adding animations, interactions and additional "states" to existing elements.
For instance how a button reacts when mouse cursor goes over it, or what's the difference between web (mouse) and touch (mobile/tablet) versions?
WE OFFER OUR KNOW – HOW
Sometimes this step is overlooked, but it is really important to clearly define goals and expectations from the get go. As they say: “measure twice, cut once”, for every cent that is not invested in the “measuring”, ends up costing multiple times over once we “cut”.
Building a usable software that’s loved by many is hard, but our experts can guide you along the way, helping you with:
Best software development practices, methodologies and procedures
Agile project life cycle, from roles such as Scrum Master, Product Owner to different ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Demo, Retro)
Who, when and how to hire developers, designers, testers and other roles
PRODUCT DESIGNCreating an exhilarating application that will be loved and used by many largely depends on the UX/UI design of the application, since that is the first thing users interact with, this is a crucial step to get right from the get go.]
SOCIAL MEDIA CONSULTINGYour presence on the internet is paramount. Without strong, consistent and ever-growing social media channels it’s like you don’t even exist. How to gain more followers, how to engage more, how to grow your business. We can answer all of those.
INTERIM CTO CONSULTINGNowadays it’s hard to find a technical co-founder. Someone with technical background, life experience and enough games under the belt. While many startups lose valuable time finding the right talent fit, we can jump right in and provide an interim CTO, who can advise the Board on all technical aspects of application development, security, tooling, etc. We can tailor fit the role to your needs.
